Swingin’ Genk

Genk On Stage is a yearly free-of-charge festival in the heart of the Belgian city of Genk that takes place in June and attracts well over 100,000 visitors during its three-day run. Over the years since Genk On Stage’s grand opening in 1982, great artists such as Boy George, The Human League and Fun Lovin’ Criminals have graced at least one of the festival’s six stages.

Despite the fact that the festival itself could not take place in 2020 (same old Covid story), Genk On Stage did manage to create an online program during the festival weekend, with live showcases and artist interviews on the digital menu.

CK PROVIDED TWO LIVE STREAMS:

• One live stream of the festival’s grand opening with a showcase by IBE, live from C-Mine
• A second live stream of a showcase by The Starlings, live from La Biomista
