Buitenbeenpop is a yearly open-air festival catered to the specific needs and wishes of people with disabilities but welcome to all. Making music, listening to music, watching music and moving to music are sensory experiences that ignite something in all of us and shouldn’t be denied to anyone. Buitenbeenpop is a festival in celebration of all the ways we experience music in all its diversity and our own.
In 2020, they celebrated their 21st edition a little differently than usual as the COVID-19 restrictions meant the festival could not take place in person. But different doesn’t mean better or worse; it just means different.
CK Productions livestreamed the festival straight from Leopoldsburg, one version with and one without an interpreter but both in the same warm atmosphere the festival is known for.
